You can enable the old volume mixer in windows 10 that allows you to mute apps but it involves a registry hack, or there's a 3rd party program that does the same:

They did up to windows 8 via the volume mixer, if you right click on the speaker icon. I was just looking for a settings fix for my issue though. That would absolutely work if I wasn't also performing other functions while the photos upload. Just turn down your speakers using the volume control panel for the OS Most desktop apps don't have separate volume controls. I don't see in the control panel where I can address this. After about three of these I'm pretty much done with hearing the sound, especially when I have 1000 photos being uploaded. When I am uploading photos using the uploadr application on my Windows 10 PC, it gives a notification sound with each photo uploaded.
